Goggles Music Manager 0.9.18

The 0.9.16 release had some minor bugs and Jeroen decided to release FOX 1.7.18 yesterday as well.

In this release:

• Fix: more url handling fixes.

Goggles Music Manager 0.9.16

In this release:

• New: add additional shortcut '/' for search filter.
• New: When pressing the search hotkeys, existing search text will be selected.
• New: New shortcuts for Repeat Off, Track and All. Added shortcut for Shuffle as well.
• New: Made 'repeat' radio buttons instead of checkbuttons.
• New: Play file from the commandline.
• Fix: Track-less songs should not display 0 (#62)
• Fix: disable default key press processing in tracklist.
• Fix: Update GUI when done playing.

Finally, Adobe Flash in 64bit

"Starting to answer the clamorous demand from open-source fans, Adobe Systems plans to release an alpha version of its Flash Player technology on Monday for those using 64-bit Linux software."

Hurray! Adobe finally decided to release a native 64-bit flashplugin. It's about time. I mean, how hard could it be. You get a 64 bit machine, and type 'make'... a 5 year old could do it... Now if only Skype could get do the same thing and I won't need the 32-bit compatibility libraries anymore...

Genesis 1970-1975 boxset

I recently purchased the Genesis 1970-1975 boxset. It contains the first 5 albums newly remastered and remixed. Each album comes as a CD and DVD. The DVD has the new 5.1 surround mix in DTS.
The DTS surround mix sounds absolutely gorgeous and really makes the music sound fresh. The "Lamb" is the only disc that also contains a pretty cool slideshow while playing the album.
